Build the thing that lifts what a workforce can do.
We are a small Sydney team building AI training infrastructure for organisations that carry real obligations: hospitals, agencies, utilities, transport operators. The work is unglamorous and consequential. If a module we generate is wrong, somebody makes a decision on a night shift based on it, so we hold a higher bar than the category usually does.
How we work
What you would actually be signing up for.
Written plainly, including the parts that will not suit everyone. A misaligned hire costs you more than it costs us.
Small teams, whole problems
You own a capability end to end rather than a ticket queue. The person who designs the review workflow is the person who talks to the compliance officer using it.
Sydney base, sensible remote
The company is Sydney-based and most of the team is in Australian time zones. Remote works where the role allows it; we do not pretend distributed is free.
Regulated by default
You will read actual policy documents and talk to actual auditors. If that sounds dull, this is the wrong company. If it sounds like a real constraint to design against, it is the right one.
Learning budget that gets used
A capability company that does not train its own people is not a serious one. Time and budget are allocated, and taking it is expected rather than tolerated.

No role that fits
Write anyway. Tell us what you would build here and why it matters. We read every one, and we have created roles off the back of a good enough note.
Send an open applicationHiring process
Four steps, and we tell you where you stand at each one.
- 01
Application
Send a CV and a short note on why this problem. No cover letter template, no timed take-home before we have spoken.
- 02
First conversation
Forty-five minutes with the hiring lead on your experience and what the role actually involves. You should leave knowing whether you want it.
- 03
Practical session
A working session on a real problem from the product, paid if it runs beyond two hours. No whiteboard algorithms.
- 04
Decision
Reference conversations, then an answer within five working days. If it is no, you get the actual reason.
Access and inclusion
Adjustments are arranged, not negotiated.
We build accessible software, which would be hard to take seriously if our hiring process were not. Tell us what you need at any stage and it is arranged without explanation or justification. If any part of this process is a barrier, say so and we will find another way to assess the same thing.
-
Adjustments on request
Extra time, written questions ahead of a session, a different format, or an interpreter. Ask the recruiter at any point.
-
Paid practical work
Any exercise beyond two hours is paid at a fair rate. We are asking for your time, not your goodwill.
-
Sponsorship considered
We sponsor Australian work visas for senior roles where the skills case is clear. Ask before assuming you are ineligible.
